Alhaji Yakubu Gobir – Waziri of Hausa, was born in London on 19th October, 1965 into the family of late Ambassador Abubakar Garba Gobir who started his career in the Northern Nigeria Government as a Private Secretary to the late Sardauna of Sokoto – Sir Ahmadu Bello and retired meritoriously after 35 years in service as a Federal Permanent Secretary in 1988.

Registration for Gobir Foundation support programmes
GO-FUNDS: Gobir fund is a micro-credit facility set up to provide venture funds and business support for market women and small-scale business owners. The outfit will afford traders, business owners and start-ups to access funding between 10,000 to 50,000 with a chance to scale up their credit limits as they successfully prove prudent in their business endeavours.
Gobir Funds will also provide financial literacy trainings and technical support to lift the most socially disadvantaged out of poverty thorough investment in community development schemes, Start-ups and business grants.
GO-TECH: Is an innovative outfit set up to provide a robust platform for creative natives of Kwara, especially the youth to pursue their creative and artistic potentials. Go-Tech or G-Tech will also provide trainings on digital accessibility and will set up an innovation hub to give young creative a chance to explore their passion.
GO-CARE: Is a health support service of the Gobir Foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life of the average family by investing in healthcare with focus on aged people, children, maternity care and dietary education.
